Our names are Mulima, Juliet and Chalwe. We are EMPIRICAL study nurses at the UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITALS-Children’s Hospital site in Lusaka, Zambia. Our main tasks include screening eligible children aged 1 month to year in the hospital admission, PICU and the malnutrition wards. In addition, we follow-up patients recruited in the study and conducting pharmacokinetic [PK] sampling in children included in the PK sub-studies.
Mulima enjoys her work a lot and spends are free time watching plenty movies fishing on a good day. Chalwe enjoys going out for a movie with her friends and watching comedies as she enjoys a good laugh. Juliet enjoys the quiet outdoors with family and friends whist catching up on a wild soccer game.
