The entire EMPIRICAL project team is proud and glad to announce that we already have the collaboration of a hundred patients. This is an EDCTP-funded research project that aims to evaluate whether empirical treatment against cytomegalovirus and tuberculosis improves the survival of HIV-infected infants with severe pneumonia.
We also want to thank the dedication, effort and willingness of all the people who contribute or have contributed since the project kicked off in 2019.
