Eugenia Bilana is a member of EMPIRICAL in Manhiça. She is a consultant and has over 15 years of experience at the Manhiça Health Research Centre (CISM) and the Manhiça District Hospital (HDM).
She leads the process of informed consent of the study participants. In addition, she participates in the realization of community mobilizations that include religious, political, and civil society leaders, to explain the different projects that the CISM will carry out in the district. As for EMPIRICAL, she deals with the consent forms related to the IMTs and organizes and controls the material that will be used to carry out IMTs.
Outside of work, Ms Eugenia, as she is affectionately called, is a widow, mother of 6 children of which 5 are alive and grandmother of 6 grandchildren. In her free time, she attends church, likes to organize her house, cook and play with her grandchildren.
